About Us
Our History
MPM Agro products trading as earth spices are a family owned farmers since 1907 and engaged in sustainable farming methods adopted since the early 90's. Whilst producing some of our products in our farm we have also partnered with the farming communities in the mountains of western Ghats which is an ecologically significant area in southern India. We also have our operations in the delta region of Tamilnad,india .
The Spice trade that existed between India and the rest of the world dating back to the 1400’s. Cassia, ginger, turmeric, pepper and cardamom are exported and helped establish this land on the global market, even centuries ago. The origin of the spices was kept a strict secret by those bringing these spices into different parts of the world which caused the merchants and consumers to come up with intriguing tales and legends, lending the spice trade a sense of deep mystery.
In our Quest to produce and source the finest Spices we have partnered with various groups of farmers and educate them on Sustainable farming methods whilst supporting them through this Journey both from a technical know-how perspective and also financially by supporting their children to attend schools and colleges as this may be an expensive choice and some prefer not to send them out to schools.our aim is to have respect for mother earth whilst enjoying the natures finest treat that is the spice that comes from this land which is unique and flavoursome.
